Absentee ballots for the State Primary Election are now available at the Freetown Town Clerk's Office. These ballots are available for residents who were registered to vote on or before the August 27^th deadline. To qualify to vote by absentee ballot the voter has to be unable to vote at the polls on election day due to the absence from town when the polls are open or have a physical disability preventing them from going to the polls. Applications requesting an absentee ballot may be filed until 12Noon on September 15, 2008.
