In the name of the Commonwealth, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said town who are qualified to vote in Special Town Election to vote at their respective Precincts, PRECINCT I AND PRECINCT II at the FREETOWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GYM, Memorial Drive entrance and PRECINCT III at the FREETOWN MULTI-PURPOSE SENIOR CENTER, Chace Road on Monday, the Twenty-second day of January, 2007, from 12Noon – 8:00 p.m. for the following purpose:

To cast their votes on the following Proposition 2 ½ override questions:

QUESTION ONE
Shall the Town of Freetown be allowed to exempt from the provisions of Proposition Two and One-Half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to purchase or lease/purchase and equip a new or late model Ambulance for the Freetown Fire Department?

QUESTION TWO
Shall the Town of Freetown be allowed to exempt from the provisions of Proposition Two and One-Half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to purchase or lease/purchase and equip a new or late model Pumper Tanker for the Freetown Fire Department, including the payment of all costs incidental thereto, (alter Station One building)?

Shall the Town of Freetown be allowed to exempt from the provisions of Proposition Two and One-Half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to purchase a street sweeper for the Freetown Highway Department?

And you are hereby directed to serve this warrant by posting attested copies thereof at the following locations: Assonet Post Office, East Freetown Post Office, the stores of Daisy’s Country Stores, Inc., and Quick Pic in East Freetown; and Junior’s Convenience Store, and Assonet Pizza in Assonet, and the Communication Center.

Hereof, fail not and make return of the original warrant with your doings thereon immediately after making service thereof to the Town Clerk of the Town of Freetown, MA.
